      Why the 'Light Bulb Lizard'?

      Riama columbiana, the Colombian lightbulb lizard, is a species of lizard in the family Gymnophthalmidae. It is endemic to Colombia.  Lightbulb lizards are endangered and are considered by some conservationists to be the most elusive and least explored lizards globally.
